LEED AP Candidates must demonstrate a thourogh understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.  LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving the performance of energy savings, water efficiency, CO(2) emissions reduction, improved indoor air quality and the stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
